I truly believe that age is just a number.  How you lead your life is very much influenced by your fitness level, and the fitter you are, the more you can enjoy your life. 

 

As a personal trainer and fitness instructor for older adults, I can help you take your fitness to the next level, whether you're a beginner or a seasoned athlete, you can make improvements through a safe and progressive exercise program that I customize just for you!

 TRAINING STYLE

As we get older and our bodies change, our motivations for working with a trainer can change.  As a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, I incorporate the Optimal Performance Training (OPT) model for all my clients.  OPT is a science-based approach of taking a client through 5 phases of fitness training.  It is designed to first build the foundation for a fit body, and then adding strength, and then, if necessary, power.  These phases are completely customized to each individual client.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM ME?

​​

​After a thorough fitness assessment, which takes into account any physical challenges you may have, current or past injuries, and any muscular imbalances, you will get a completely customized training program designed just for you.    

​

I strive to make the workouts fun, safe, and appropriate.  We will train at the Tuscany Falls fitness center where we have access to a variety of free weights, exercise machines, cables, medicine balls, and more.  All you need to bring with you is a water bottle, comfortable clothing, and your favorite sneakers!
